7K visitors charmed Redington IT expo

Vijayawada : Redington has recently conducted an IT expo from Nov
21-23, 2008 at Krishna Dist Lorry Owner Associa­tion, Near Benz Circle in
Vijaywada. This event is third in the series con­ducted by the distri­butor,
after Chennai and Coimbatore. The digital expo, which was inaugurated by
Pradyumna IAS, Commis­sioner, Vijayawada Municipal Corporation witnessed major
players of the industry displaying their products and services during the event.

The expo had 30 stalls showcasing a wide range of latest IT & consumer
elec­tronics, telecom products and services, and attracted 7,000 visitors this
year .

Logitech, HP and Lenovo were the major sponsors for the event. LG, Wipro, HCL,
Toshiba and Matrix displayed their products in the expo.

Jose John, Zonal Head, Redington (Andhra Pradesh) said, "I hope that this
fair will go a long way in providing further fillip to the growth of IT industry
in Vijayawada.
