Frequency of visits to India: Last year I spent eight weeks in India.
This year I have already spent over nine weeks and expect to come over for
another two weeks by the end of the year. My only purpose is business. However I
took the opportunity to bring my wife with me and spend a few weekends as a
tourist.

What I like about India: From business point of view, I am very
satisfied with India. There is a huge opportunity for growth. And I am very
excited about it. The more I stay here; the more I want to know about the
country, its people, culture, religion, geography and history.

Apart from other things you can get very good wine too. You just need to
search a bit but the Viognier is perfect. Food is another specialty of India, I
consider myself a local citizen as far as food palate is concerned.

What I don't like about India: I feel poverty is too visible still,
I know India is growing, and I am convinced this eventually will disappear.
Every citizen here is committed to the economic prosperity.

What I look forward to in India: I look forward to understanding the
culture of this country. There are so many things to discover in all the
regions. I think I have to stay here for several years to understand this
country.

One thing about India that has stuck in my mind: A memorable weekend in
Srinagar, landing in a small airport, with soldiers all over the city and the
fantastic welcome by the people here despite very difficult life conditions is
something I will always remember. I can never forget the life on houseboats,
mountains, and palaces. A unique weekend outside common tourist places where I
have never been before.
