Accel Frontline partners with Jawaharlal Nehru University

Chennai headquartered IT services company Accel Frontline Ltd, has announced
the signing of a strategic partnership agreement with Jawaharlal Nehru
University (JNU), to develop software-based solutions and applications for JNU's,
e-governance cell.

The e-governance cell of JNU, will involve digitization of all the processes
and procedures related to administration and admission not only for the
university but also for its related affiliated colleges as well. With this
project, JNU will soon become one of the first universities in the country to
adopt e-governance.

The contract with Accel Frontline also includes a two-year maintenance warranty
and then a three-year maintenance contract. As part of this project, the company
will also train JNU officials to ensure optimum usage of the technology on a
long-term basis.

Commenting on this partnership N.R. Panicker, Chairman and CEO of Accel
Frontline Limited said, "One of our key focus areas is education and we are
pleased to have bagged this prestigious project with JNU. This project would
entail providing the overall e-governance focused solution to the university and
would involve designing and implementing customer friendly applications that
will deliver desired efficiencies for the overall system."

Through the e-governance project the university is looking forward to
connecting all its departments relevant to the university's functioning like
accounts, finance, security, sanitation, maintenance etc. The training programme
in basic operation of computers for all the administrative staff members has
commenced and will be completed within the next two months. The trial phase for
the entire system will begin within a month time.
