ACDWA IT expo marks huge rush

During the four-day IT expo organized by Allahabad Computer Dealers' Welfare
Association (ACDWA), partners witnessed a rising interest in customers for
possessing high-end desktops and laptops priced in the range of Rs 35,000 to Rs
40,000. ACDWA organized the four-day event in Allahabad recently, which saw
participation of around five lakh visitors. Dealers who had set stalls at the
event were seen talking to customers about upcoming technologies.

The IT expo was a part of 'mid-night bazaar' where 40 IT stalls occupied the
space. Major IT vendors including, Lenovo, HP, HCL, Compaq, Sahara and Intel
also participated in the event.

Shiv Shankar Singh, President, ACDWA informed that the event was highly
successful and the customer turn-up was unexpectedly enormous. “We have got
commendable support from all vendors who are offering the products with various
schemes. The prices are low in the expo as compared to regular business. We hope
to organize such an event every year,” he added.
