Actis launches incentive scheme for partners

Actis Technologies has launched a new channel scheme to
provide incentives to its channel partners across India. The scheme will reward
all Actis

authorized dealers on achieving a certain target specified by the company. The
rewards include Panasonic cordless phone,

Siemens coffee maker, Motorola V3i and a travel voucher from Cox & Kings.

Giving details of the same, Abhimanyu Gupta, Director, Actis
Technologies said, "The new channel scheme is launched to motivate partners
to perform better. Under this scheme, different slabs have been formed and
channel partners would be rewarded on the basis of the target achieved by them
under these slabs. The scheme would be valid for the fourth quarter of 2006-07
and is applicable to all our channel partners." Indicating that incentive
schemes like this one in the past have been well received, Gupta felt that such
schemes help keep the momentum of doing business very high.

With more than 500 partners across India and the product line
promoted through the partners increased to nine different product categories,
Actis would be focusing on expansion in Eastern India said Gupta while informing
that the company has opened office in Kolkata already. "While attempting to
grow our channel in a phased manner across India, we would keeping mind the B and
C class cities like Aurangabad, Nasik, Vishakapatnam, Cochin, Shillong and
Bhuvaneshwar and focus on products categories like multi-media projectors, flat
screen displays, video ad audios conferencing tools and white boards."
Hinting at more product launches, Gupta said that the target verticals would
include, education, government and corporate among others.

Working along with partners, Actis Technologies has also entered a tie up
with BenQ for their DLP Projectors. The company is looking for new partners for
this range of products in the B and C class cities in the country. Commenting on
the partnership, Gupta said, "Since BenQ is a renowned player in this
space, we believe the tie-up would help us go places." While indicating
that the grey market still poses some challenges for Actis, Gupta said that
working hand-in-hand with partners has helped Actis tackle the issue to a
considerable degree.
