Aditya Infotech launches X-Gear range of players

Aditya Infotech has launched its own brand of MP3 and MP4 players. The new
brand of MP3/MP4 players is called X-gear and the company has initially launched
five new models which include X-Gear X Trax - MP3 player; X-Gear X hilerate,
X-Gear X treme, X-Gear X treme - MP4 players. These models are available in 1GB
and 2GB in capacities. The company will focus on selling the products through
organized retail, online sales, corporate gift bundling and mobile phone channel
with a major thrust to tap into the SOHO segment.

Speaking about the same, Yogesh Dutta, Country Manager, Aditya Infotech said,
"Indian customers have the aptitude for products like MP3 and MP4 player
and there is a opportunity for every player in the market."

The X-Gear models have distinct features whereby if a consumer wants to
listen to songs in car, he need not attach a cable to transfer the songs. He can
simply tune into FM frequency and can enjoy the songs.

The entry-level MP3/MP4 players (1GB) are priced at Rs1800-1900 whereas the
hi-end (2GB) are valued at Rs2500 and above.
