Aircel and Nokia have entered into a commercial partnership to provide
pre-paid bundled offers to customers across the state of Tamil Nadu.
Aircel said in a statement that the bundled offer would be marketed through the
Nokia distribution network (i.e. through Nokia dealers and retail outlets)
across the state.
KVP Baskar, CEO-South, Aircel Cellular, said, "We firmly believe that
Nokia's vision of connecting people is in sync with Aircel's commitment towards
reaching out to the masses."
Aircel pre-paid Starter Packs (SPs) would be available free along with Nokia
1110i (for Rs 1699) Nokia 1112 (for Rs 1849) and Nokia 2310 (for Rs 2499). These
SPs would have a two -year validity period along with free talk value ranging
from Rs 300 to Rs 600.
