Allied Telesis conducts select solution partners meet

Allied Telesis has conducted its annual
solution partners meet Mission 2010 at Leonia Holistic Spa and
Resort, Hyderabad. The main agenda was to recognize the efforts put
in by the existing partners and address the relevant channel
fraternity with a clear vision of how Allied Telesis is creating a
revolution in the IP world. It was attended by 45 select channel
partners, invited from across the country.

This annual partner meet was an event
especially for its key solution partners. Allied Telesis's meet was a
thematic representation of the company's consistent efforts put
over the years in developing a complete triple play ready network, on
which, any and every IP applications seamlessly could be sitting.

Addressing the gathering, M Y Fung, MD,
Allied Telesis, said, "Allied Telesis promises

high-performance, high-quality, future-proof products that can
meet all cutting-edge voice, video and data networking needs, and
won't break your budget. Our strength is in producing efficient,
streamlined, powerful products that will last for the life of your
network and deliver the highest possible return on your investment.”
Fung further added, “As India catalyses the world economic
recovery, we pledge our renewed focus on Indian market, and I am sure
of an impressive growth. Our partners are the most important part of
this growth and the association will certainly grow stronger with the
partners.”

In his presentation, he pointed out the
YoY growth of the channels. Highlighting the scope of Layer 3
ethernet switches and Multiservice Access Platforms to NICs, media
converters or wireless access points, which can augment the stream of
revenue for channels, Fung invited the channel to focus on those
businesses. "Allied Telesis believes in relationship. Without
this, the business will not grow," emphasized Fung.

In line with his view, lauding the
channel partners for continuous support, Subhasish Gupta, Country
Manager-India and SAARC, Allied Telesis spoke about the various
initiatives undertaken by Allied Telesis in the past year, reassuring
its commitment to the India market. He spoke about the value
propositions associated with Allied Telesis and said, "Allied
Telesis with its solutions business is committed to further enhance
the skill sets of its channel partners, thus getting them truly up
the value chain! 100 percent of our business is driven through
channels and our commitment in making the partners' business easy
is manifested in our unique sales model, backed up with a strong
local RMA Support policy, currently covering 55 service locations in
India."

This meet also succeeded in
strengthening Allied Telesis' bonding with its partners for a more
consolidated position for the years to come. After a whole day of
learning, open forum discussions, specific partner recognition
awards, a unique workshop by Prof Rajeev Gowda, the partners had a
blast with the Allied Telesis team over a fun-filled cocktail, dinner
evening.

The event concluded with Subhasish
Gupta felicitating certain key partners and thanking them for their
presence and contribution. He further added that the current market
scenario points to improving conditions and with Allied Telesis's
crisp GTM strategy, it will further open up a great deal of
opportunities for business enhancement and mutual growth. The event
concluded on a very positive note.
