Allied Telesyn set to become Allied Telesis

Allied Telesyn would now be known as Allied Telesis in India. While no formal
announcement to that effect has yet been made, it appears that the name change
will happen soon.

According to Subhashish Gupta, Country Manager-India and SAARC, Allied
Telesyn, “We are part of the Allied Telesis group, and are contemplating on
adopting the parent company name. However there is as yet no official
confirmation as to when the change is likely to happen.” Expressing happiness
over the idea, Gupta further added, “We are celebrating our 20th year of
formation this year, and we are glad to say that we are a well-established brand
in the market. This is despite the fact that we have been relatively quiet on
the marketing front.”
