AMD's Sanjeev Keskar quits

Advanced Micronic Devices (AMD) country manager for India Sanjeev Keskar is
quitting AMD. May 10, 2005 was his last day in the company. It is not yet known
where he would be joining.

According to an AMD spokesman, the company has not yet taken a decision on
who would be taking over the position of country manager. "It is now up to
the senior management to take the decision," he added.

"I have accomplished what I set out to do," said Sanjeev. "AMD
India is on a strong growth path," he added. At AMD, Sanjeev held the
responsibility for AMD's India operations and was in charge of sales and
marketing, distribution management and OEM areas. He joined AMD in 2001 and
previously held the position of Country Manager at National Semiconductor.

In the context of Sanjeev's resignation, AMD India President, Ajay Marathe
said, "AMD is in the process of building a strong management team to
accelerate our growth in India. To effectively meet our customer needs, we have
structured our team in four key areas - sales, marketing, business development,
and technical support."
