Andrew Lee joins K7 Computing as CTO

K7 Computing announced that respected anti-virus industry expert Andrew Lee has joined the company to fill the position of Chief Technology Officer.

Andrew Lee is a founding member and current CEO of AVIEN (Anti-Virus Information Exchange Network), and a board member of the fledgling AMTSO (Anti Malware Testing Standards Organization) group, in addition to being a member of AVAR (Association of anti Virus Asia Researchers) and a reporter for the WildList organization. He is well known as a frequent speaker at industry conferences ISC2 Seminars, AVAR, Virus Bulletin and EICAR. He is a widely published author of hundreds of articles on antivirus and security, and a contributing author to the recent AVIEN Malware Defense Guide, published by Syngress in 2007. Andrew started his career as a systems security administrator in a large Government organization, and later led the world-class research department at antivirus vendor ESET.
