Apara Enterprise Solutions : On The Move

After a 100 percent growth in 2007-08, Bengaluru based Apara Enterprise
Solutions had to settle for a nondescript eight percent growth in the last
fiscal. Last year saw Apara enter into several vendor tie-ups. Amongst these
were partnerships with Radware, Avocent and Isilon. It was also named the
Velocity Partner for EMC Corporation. It will market EMC's hardware, software
solutions and services across India.

Amongst customer verticals, IT/ITeS was the biggest spender with Apara, which
accounted for 55 percent of their business. BFSI followed at 22 percent,
followed by SMB customers who brought 19 percent of business for Apara.

Apara's forte has been providing integrated IT infrastructure solutions and
consulting services portfolio ranging from enterprise storage, intelligent
networking and enterprise security to secure messaging and application
solutions. It has an in-depth delivery approach where it reaches out to over 500
transnational and Indian enterprises. Some of its customers include ABN AMRO
Bank, Accenture, Bharti Group, Citibank, Daimler Chrysler, Ericsson, GE Capital,
HFCL, ICICI Bank, Idea Cellular, Intel, Kotak Mahindra, Motorola, Rediff.com,
Reliance Infocomm, Robert Bosch, Synopsys, Yahoo India, amongst others.
