Apsis Technologies is looking to increase its focus on its AamberNet brand of
solutions and plans to increase marketing activities for the same using print
and online media. Promotional activities like special schemes to encourage
partners are also on anvil.
According to L Madhu, Chairman, Apsis Technologies, "We would be
appointing regional distributors in tier two and tier three cities and also
provide channel sales/ technical training and support for this brand of
solutions. We would also go-to-market together with our partners and increase
customer mind share for AamberNet in the market."
AamberNet is an end-to-end structured cabling solution that has been developed
by Apsis and features a range of UTP LAN cables and fiber optic cables with
their accessories. AamberNet range of networking products deliver quality and
performance as per the International standards set by EIA/TIA/ANSI and ISO.
"Our cables and components integrate seamlessly into all wall plates,
faceplate and connectors. This range is targeted at educational institutions,
pharmaceuticals, infrastructure companies, IT, ITeS, BFSI, and government
organizations," Madhu added.
Elaborating on the channel training programs that Apsis has planned for the
new solution set, Madhu said, "As part of our channel program we would be
conducting national level events to educate partners more on networking products
as well as given them guidance on special segments. For this we would hold
targeted training sessions as well for partners." He further added,
"The idea behind the exercise is to increase brand awareness as regards
AamberNet at the national level. We have already appointed some partners in the
south region and are looking to appoint partners in North India as well. As part
of our expansion plans we will also be increasing our footprint in the tier one
and tier two cities in the coming fiscal through our partner network."
Commenting on the selection criteria for new partner sign ups, Madhu said
that the most important criteria that they would look for in potential partners
is commitment. "We wish to select committed dealers who understand the
value of our product. Those who have a good market penetration, a good team and
those who can drive our brand to compete with similar existing brands," he
indicated.
Apsis Technologies has since its inception in 2000 grown from being a
reseller to becoming a principal today. The company is now getting aggressive
for promoting its networking product brand AamberNet.
