With operations in place in Malaysia, Taiwan, China and Indonesia —
Singapore-based ECS is now looking forward to setting up base in India.
"India is a huge market and we deal with products that can be of interest
to a large user-base in India. Though, we have not finalised on it but we are
looking at building a base in India in the near future," said, Foo Sen
Chin, Malaysia-based Managing Director of ECS Kush Snd Bhd. He was in Singapore

to speak in a seminar on channels, at CommunicAsia 2005.

With a network of vibrant channel community of 13,000 resellers — ECS is
distributing products of vendors like, HP, Canon, Apple, Microsoft, Macromedia,
Epson, Huawei and Lexmark.

With eyes set on the growth path Chin does not believe in increasing the
number of resellers just for the sake of gathering momentum. "Distributors
have a challenge to grow the market but at the same time they have to ensure
profitability. We have always kept that in mind," he added.

leading-edge, converged communication products in the Asia Pacific region. Our
goal is to provide our reseller, integrator and developer channels with the
right platforms to increase revenue streams, accelerate solution deployment
time, and ultimately, boost profits. With its large population, India is
certainly an attractive marketplace to work in," informed, Raymond Ng,
Sales Director, IT Products & Services, Atttix Technology Pte Ltd.

Keeping intact its focus on convergence, Attrix is an authorized distributor
for Intel, Quintum and Artisoft. The company has been able to carve a niche for
