Aspire to get five percent rebate from Symantec

In bid to recognize its channel's efforts, Symantec India has rolled out a
program named 'Aspire'. This rebate initiative is the latest salvo from Symantec
to promote its sales, through the channel.

The company has extended this program to partners who have not registered
with Symantec. It is also the company's objective to expand its channel network,
through this program for its over the counter products. This program is open for
partners in Australia, Hong Kong, India and New Zealand.

Partners have to first register themselves with Symantec for participating in
this program and if they over achieve their targets, they get a five percent
rebate. Aspire will run till March 28, 2008 and the registration process gets
over by Nov 30, 2007.

Ajay Verma, Director-Channels and Alliances, Symantec India said, “We have
partners spread across the country and we want to ensure them that we are
looking at their business growth as well. The whole idea behind Aspire is to
give them a set target to achieve and reward them on fulfilling it.”
