Lalit Choudhary Takes Charge as ISODA President

Lalit Choudhary has taken over as President of the Infotech Software Dealers Association (ISODA), heading a new 15-member Management Committee elected at the association's Annual General Meeting in Goa on 19 September 2026. The leadership transition was the centrepiece of ISODA's three-day United Summit 2026, held from 18 to 20 September at Alila Diwa Goa under the theme "Unite. Engage. Accelerate."

Lalit takes charge of a national body representing more than 200 member organisations, 20,000-plus feet on the street, 150-plus cities and nine regional chapters across India's IT channel ecosystem. He will work alongside Vimesh Avlani as Chairman, Satya Priya Das as Vice Chairman, Dalip Arora as Vice President, Pradeep Daga as Secretary and Ravi Jalan as Treasurer, with regional secretaries appointed across West, East, Delhi/NCR, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Rajasthan, Hyderabad, Gujarat and the Northeast.

The new committee's mandate includes strengthening member engagement, supporting regional chapters and deepening industry relationships at a time when the technology channel is evolving rapidly and member expectations are expanding.

The AGM, which ran for three hours on the Summit's second day, followed a keynote address and sponsor sessions from Sixscape, Acronis, Halofort and Vembu. A separate session led by Nandak Pandya, titled "Current Scenario of ISODA Members: Opportunities, Challenges & the Way Out," gave members a platform to discuss the current business environment ahead of the leadership vote.

More than 100 industry participants, including ISODA members, technology companies, distributors and ISVs, attended the Summit, alongside a 20-stall expo featuring ISODA's ISV and distributor members and MSME ecosystem representatives. Day one included the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between ISODA and the Goa IT Association, aimed at creating a joint platform for knowledge exchange between the two technology ecosystems, along with a session on cybersecurity and MSME benefits.

The Summit closed with a Gala Dinner and the ISODA Awards for Business Excellence 2026. LDS Infotech Pvt Ltd won Best Solution Partner, dMACQ Software won for IP Creation, Products, Framework and ISV, Technobind Solutions Pvt Ltd was named Best Distributor, Noventiq ValuePoint won the Cyber Resilience and Compliance Excellence award, and Compusoft Advisors (India) Pvt Ltd took the AI-Driven Operational Efficiency category. Enjay IT Solutions Ltd won Best Elevator Pitch among exhibitors, judged by the same jury as the main awards.
