Mumbai: Asus launched two new models of graphic cards, namely EAH5870/2DIS/1GD5 and EAH5850/2DIS/1GD5. The company claims to be the very first to utilize Voltage Tweak technology in the creation of these cards.
It enables users to boost GPU voltages via the SmartDoctor application to enjoy up to a 38 percent improvement in performance. Both graphic cards support Microsoft DirectX 11 and Windows 7. The latest 40nm process and GDDR5 memory technologies are also utilized in these cards. They purport to deliver faster processing times and general system performance. The users get an option to run up to three displays from a single graphic card. Credit for the same goes to the inherent DisplayPort and Eyefinity technology used. The Asus EAH5800 series comes specially bundled with DiRT 2, an anticipated DirectX 11game.
