ATEN introduces dual rail LCD KVM console

ATEN International has introduced the dual rail LCD PS/2-USB KVM console -
the KL1100 - from its enterprise class ALTUSEN product line. The KL1100 features
an integrated 17-inch or 19-inch high-resolution LCD monitor, a full keyboard
and a touchpad in a 1U dual rail housing with internal power built in. The
KL1100 provides an external combo console port, consisting of a PS/2 or USB
keyboard, mouse and monitor.

ATEN's dual rail KVM solutions are designed for enterprise customers who need
a space saving, flexible, and cost-effective server management solution for
their network environments. For server rooms that already have KVM switches
installed, the KL1100 could integrate with existing KVM switches or servers and
gives control over the installation from the compact, space-saving dual rail LCD
console. With its dual interface feature, the KL1100 supports servers and KVM
switches with PS/2 or USB connector.

The KL1100 is available as AC or DC power input model with built in internal
power. For added convenience and multipoint access, the KL1100 provides an
external combo console with either PS/2 or USB connectors. Administrators can
choose to control the installation from a local console (keyboard, video and
mouse) up to 20 meters away. In addition, a hot-pluggable USB mouse port is
provided on the front panel for users who don't like working with touchpad.

The dual rail design of the KL1100 allows LCD monitor slides independently of
the keyboard/touchpad. For monitoring and troubleshooting servers, the LCD
monitor can remain in clear view with the server rack door closed. The KL1100
supports video with resolutions of up to 1280 x 1024 pixels at 75Hz and DDC2B
for both the 17- and 19-inch monitor.

ATEN's KL1100 dual rail LCD PS/2-USB console is available at a price of Rs
110,000 (17-inch monitor) and Rs 130,000. (19-inch monitor) respectively.
