AVG expands channel partner network

Mumbai: AVG Technologies announced the appointment of Aarvee Computers in Mumbai and The Park Group in New Delhi/NCR regions as its Premier Partners for AVG's retail products. With this appointment, AVG aims to reach out to a larger section of users in the western and northern parts of India. AVG, which operates in India through its master distributor, Milestone Interactive, will also strengthen its presence in the channel reseller community through this appointment.

"With the rate of PC penetration and adoption of technology in the consumer and SMB space in India increasing, we realized that Indian users would have the need and demand for world class security software. It is hence important for us to reach out to these users and make our products available. The appointment of Aarvee and The Park Group will enable AVG to meet the demand from users in the Western and Northern regions of India," said Peter Baxter, VP-Business Development, AVG Technologies.
