Bangalore IT biz starts

The 13th edition of
Bangalore IT biz is starting from October 28, 2010. The 3-day event,
based on the theme of 'Billion Strong Empowered by ICT', is another
step towards identifying and being part of the next big shift. The
event would cover
keynote on MSME-growth and drivers, vision 2020 leadership series,
ICT at the bottom of the pyramid and cloud computing. The parallel
tracks would cover topics like e-governance, GIS, Young Entrepreneurs
Start-ups in Soaring Spirits (YESSS), embedded technology, IT
application in frontier technologies, ITIR and IT destinations,
animation VFX, gaming and comics, energy and environment and remote
infrastructure management services.

According to a press
statement, over 70 industry captains and senior managers would be
present at the meet. Many associations like Industry Associations
Electronics City Industries Association (ELCIA); The Indus
Entrepreneurs (TiE), Bangalore; Manufacturer's Association for
Information Technology (MAIT); Consortium of Electronic Industries of
Karnataka (CLIK) are joining hands in a collaborative effort. Every
year, Bangalore
IT.biz invites international representatives to participate and
interact with the industry. While 2009 saw representatives from Chile
IT association, the participants of 2010 would get the chance to meet
the representatives from Israel high-tech industry association.
