Believe in yourself

As a young boy,
while hanging out, Ashok Kumar used to share his entrepreneurship
dreams with his friends. He used to discuss about his aspirations of
being a highprofile entrepreneur and sign deals with several other
companies to bring innovation in the market coupled with customer
satisfaction. Paying no heed to Kumar's thoughts and conversations,
his friends mocked at him and ostracized him as 'day- reamer'.
However, Kumar had a strong belief in his willingness to achieve his
goal. These childhood aspirations of becoming a successful
entrepreneur played a pivotal role in nourishing Kumar's dream,
which was fulfilled when he started his own company, href="http://www.dqweek.com/RAH-Infotech-to-expand-reach-amp-product-portfolio">RAH
Infotech in
Delhi. Holding onto his convictions, Kumar explains, “Everyone who
possesses the willingness to learn and achieve, always makes
something great out of him or herself.”

“DREAMS COME TRUE”

Having been a
dynamic entrepreneur for more than 15 years, Kumar is currently an
established player in the networking and network security domain with
his exemplary energy and commitment towards work. After completing
his graduation in IT from Allahabad University, Kumar started his
career in 1995 with a company called Fast Track Technologies as a
techno-commercial manager. There he was res pon sible for handling
growing number of clients in the company. He was dealing with big
clients like Ranbaxy, Wipro, TCS, Dabur and many more. “Although
there was always a challenge involved in my task to convince the
clients and accomplish my task successfully, I used to consider those
challenges as opportunities to learn-how to grow big and deal with
clients in the market,” says a confident Kumar. After absorbing the
nuances of trade for more than 6 years, Kumar started Network
Solution India in 2003. Although Kumar was really glad to have his
own venture, but he still harbored a notion of doing something bigger
and excel in the business of networking solutions to build up a
distinguished position in the market. Gradually, the ambitious and
focused Kumar started observing the happenings in the networking
solution market by updating himself from reading several business
dailies and magazines. Then bringing in his experience, Kumar started
another company called RAH Infotech in 2005 of which, presently, he
is the MD and CEO. “It is my responsibility to take care of the
company and add more and more products to our current portfolio to
strengthen our market position globally,” says Kumar.

Headquartered in
Delhi, RAH Infotech has its core strength in enabling and securing
the networks of enterprise customers. “It is very important to
understand the customer's pain areas and make sure that you address
them to the maximum level. We are determined to focus on reducing the
pain areas of customers and be there with them at the time of need.
Venturing out RAH Infotech is like a dream come true for me,” says
a proud Kumar.

BEING CALCULATIVE AND THINKING
OUT-OF-THE-BOX

Recalling his
journey as an entrepreneur, Kumar revealed that the journey was never
a smooth one to achieve the desired goal. After establishing the
company, the biggest challenge was to convince customers' mind on
the company's services and products. However, even when all the
major players in the IT market overlooked RAH Infotech, it did not
kill the confident spirit of Kumar, who was smart enough to keep
himself updated about new technologies. Also, then the shortage of
manpower also posed a tough challenge.

Rather, he set his
convictions firm and worked hard with his dedicated employee base to
reach up to the expectations of his customers in the market. “My
journey from an employee to an employer was not smooth and I have
encountered a lot of problems in the initial stage of my
entrepreneurship, but I never gave up my spirit at any point of time.
I am a very hard-working person and have complete faith in my work,
which I worship as God,” explains Kumar. Today, RAH Infotech is
betting high in providing advanced networking solutions in the market
catering to the customers' requirement. And, he cherishes the work
culture of the company, where people are encouraged to think
out-of-box in every aspect of their job. “With major revenues from
SMB and mid market, the success mantra for us is to offer the most
optimum solutions and products at right price and excellent postsales
support. The new alliance with SMC Networks will further help the
company to dominate this growing market,” says Kumar calculatively.

“NO FEAR, NO REGRETS, ACHIEVE
LIFE”

Kumar strongly
believes in the oft quoted saying of William Jennings Bryan-“Destiny
is not a matter of chance; it is a matter of choice. It is not a
thing to be waited for, it is a thing to be achieved.” According to
Kumar, strong determination to achieve what you want in life, passion
to achieve the goal and support from family and friends are the three
major factors which have contributed to his successful journey. Also,
he believes that he has got the motivation and courage to be a
successful entrepreneur, by reading the way all leading entrepreneurs
have followed their interests and chased their dreams. He cheerfully
states that all the decisions that he has made so far have worked in
favor of his family and company; and he would never like to change
anything and have no regret for the same. He further says, “For
living a happy life, go confidently in the direction of your dreams!
And, there should not be any fear to live the life you've imagined.
When you live without having any fear, it simplifies the law of life
to live happily with family and work.” Maintaining a proper balance
between work and family, Kumar always makes a point to dine together
with his family members. And whenever he finds time for them, he
makes sure he doesn't miss out the chance. He enjoys spending time
with friends and family in exploring new places.

FUTURE PLANS

Riding high in a
new wave of success, RAH Infotech is growing at 25% y-o-y. Talking
further on the future business plans about the company's growth at
an exponential rate, Kumar says, “I am hoping to see RAH Infotech
reach new heights. We are about to start our perations in Chennai,
Singapore and the UK and will be opening more branches in other parts
of India and the world by the end of this financial year.”
