Best Deployment Award (Gold): PC Solutions : Deploying Solutions And Beyond

The journey for PC Solutions started in 1988.

The company that initially used to provide support services, is now one of
the leading infrastructure solution providers in the country. The Delhi-based
solution provider has marked out five key areas where it provides solutions-IT
infrastructure, networking and communications, information security, information
life cycle management and information workflow.

Besides winning the 'Best Service Provider Value' award, the second award
that PC Solutions won at the recently concluded SP Summit was in the 'Best
Deployment' category. This is usually given for executing an innovative and
unique project. PC Solutions was the chosen winner for undertaking a unified
communication project valued at Rs 1.5 crore, for a global offshore outsourcing
company, where it configured a front server for audio, video and instant
messaging, integrating the OCS with PBX for 8,000 users.

Talking about what really clicked for the company as far as the offshore
project is concerned, Devendra Taneja, CEO, PC Solutions shared, "During our
various interactions with the customer at various levels, we identified key
business points. Based on those inputs, we decided to go with positioning
unified communication as a solution to address customers business requirement.
What worked for us is the fact that PC Solutions has developed awareness
programs in a way that people have got used to the system faster, and usage has
reached 80 percent within three months."

As far as customer benefits are concerned, the unified communication solution
has resulted in 30 percent savings on the communication cost. Throwing light on
other benefits, Taneja added, "Our customers now have got one solution to
communicate, be it voice/video/IM/Web within and outside the organization. Now,
they also have the capability to archive all business communication under one
solution."

PC Solutions, till date, has deployed 45,000 seats all across India and plans
to do a lot more in the coming future. People within the organization say that
size is never an issue for their company; they are capable to handle any project
size. The turnover of PC Solutions for the last financial year stands at Rs 142
crore. It has branch offices all across the country, in cities such as Delhi,

Mumbai, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Chennai and Bengaluru.
