BITA IT Show 08 on 25th January

The Baroda Information Technology Association (BITA) will conduct a three-day
IT show 2008 on 25th January. The event will have 200 stalls and its associate
sponsors are Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL), Intel and LG.

The association had designed 14 domes at the exhibition, which will be
information and education centers that will be lead by Jetking and Tally and
exclusive domes of Intel, LG and BSNL. Incidentally BSNL will launch its new
data card at the exhibition. Sharing details Hitesh Patni, President of BITA
said," We will have 200 stalls in this exhibition for which the bookings
have been completed. We are talking to the event sponsors and will confirm the
names soon. We will have a more educative expo in this year and are already in
talks with some CEOs to speak at the seminars." The association expects
around 50,000 people to visit the three-day expo.

BITA, established in September 1997 has been organizing various events in
Baroda but the two big events it has conducted thus far have been the Garba
Mahotsav and BITA IT show. Patni further added," This year we also want to
accommodate other industries that are indirectly related to IT in the expo and
we have sent invitations to various organizations for the same. We will also
have a silence zone for solutions and software providers. We have already got
confirmations from Intel, HP, Lenovo, Zenith, Samsung, D-Link, i-Ball, Wipro,
Tata Indicom, Xerox, Quick Heal, Unistall, IBM, Tally, Cannon, Logitech and
Jetking to participate in the exhibition."

BITA will also partner with radio channel Big FM to promote the expo in the
Baroda region.
