BITA IT show 2008 between January 25th and 27th

Baroda Information Technology Association (BITA), which has finalized dates
for its IT expo from 25th to 27th of January 2008 will conduct seminars on
several topics at the expo to make the event more information oriented.

Hitesh Patni, President, BITA said, "We have finalized some topics for
the seminars so that we can share knowledge about IT industry in India and
abroad. We will be having seminars on Linux technology, Open source software and
digital photo typing and building infrastructure modeling. Other topics include
opportunity in IT in Gujarat, next generation network and multiplay broadband,
animation and visual effects, development of web applications in Java,
consolidation overview on ERP solutions and benefits of using GNU/ Linux. We
have finalized some speakers for the seminars already."

Patni further added that Minister of Industry of Gujarat Government Saurabh
Patel will inaugurate the IT show 2008. BITA is planning to have 200 stalls in
the expo and sponsors for show are Intel and LG Electronics and the co-sponsors
for the event are BSNL and Janshikshan Sasthan of Vadodara.

BITA has been conducting IT expos for the last 10 years and this will be the
11th of the show. Gujarat Informatics Limited has agreed to promote the show and
BITA has already tie-up with Big-FM to promote the expo in the Baroda region.
