BITA urges for more cooperation from members

The Bihar IT Association (BITA) is urging for more cooperation from its
members to participate in meetings and execution of projects. Complaining about
loss of interest from its members, SN Prasad, President, BITA said, “Members
have started losing interest in the association. Only four of the office bearers
are keeping track of the association and there is a desperate need for more
involvement from other members.” The casual attitude of the BITA members has
already taken a toll on the association as this year, BITA failed to repeat the
success of the last expo it had in late-May. Confirming the statement, PK Sinha,
Treasurer, BITA added, “This year, we did not have the expo as there was a
severe dearth of participation from the members. Whenever dealers face a crisis
situation here, we all unite for the cause and as soon as it is over, members
are on their own.”

The state has recently witnessed a recovery in business starting mid-April.
Now, with the prolonged economic crisis seeming to come to an end, dealers
across the state are busy consolidating their business in product lines and
expanding focus on consumer segments. Addressing the same, BITA has decided to
take up the matter in their next meeting.
