BITOAA comes into existence

Partners in Bhopal have finally formed a new IT association called the Bhoj
Information Technology and Office Auto­mation Association (BITOAA). It may be
noted that rising discontentment among dealers owing to issues related to
margins, price undercutting and post-sales support were the reasons that led to
the formation of the association that came into being on the occasion of Ganesh
Chaturthi. The governing body was elected on the Sep 15, 2007 and Ashish Jain
was unanimously chosen as the President of BITOAA. Anupam Chansoria is the
Secretary and Neeraj Srivastava has been elected as the Treasurer.

Apparently, there were five contenders vying for the post of President that
included Ashish Jain, Anupam Chansoria, Manoj Dadlani, Narendra Lokwani and
Pradeep Motwani. However, Ashish Jain of Sam Systems won comprehensively. Close
to 75 people participated in the election and cast their votes. Currently, the
association boasts of a total strength of around 85 members.
