Bridging The Divide

A regular visitor to India, Foulcher is impressed with the warmth of the
people and the developments over the years, but he is looking forward to more
improvement on the infrastructure front. He hopes this will narrow the disparity
between the rich and the poor in the country

Frequency of visits to India: India is an important market for Cincom. Seeing
the immense opportunity and business potential provided by Indian domestic
market, and in order to grow our India sales and marketing operation, I make a
visit every month to work with my team and meet our customers.

What I like about India: The warmth of India and the hospitality of the
people have impressed me a lot. Indians are very friendly and articulate. A lot
of development has taken place here in the past few years, especially the
efforts made by the government towards improving the basic infrastructure. The
support provided to the IT industry is commendable.

What I dislike about India: Though there is not much I dislike about the
country, I would like to accentuate about the inadequate infrastructure planning
and the disparity between the rich and the poor. The pollution here is also a
disappointing feature.

One thing about India that stuck to my mind: The one thing that has struck me
about India is its ability to grow and overcome many of its fundamental
constraints.

What I look forward to in India: India is a developing economy and I look
forward to developed infrastructure as well. I also look forward to seeing more
smiling faces and enjoying good food.
