Brocade partners with Hitachi Data Systems

New Delhi: Data center networking solutions provider Brocade has announced a
reseller agreement with Hitachi Data Systems. According to the agreement Hitachi
will resell the Brocade StorageX file virtualization and management software
solution. The agreement offers Hitachi Data Systems' customers a solution for
file data replication and migration, as well as centralized management of
multiple namespaces.

“The addition of Brocade StorageX to the Hitachi Data Systems portfolio
extends the Hitachi Data Systems and Brocade relationship into mission-critical
file management solutions,” said Tom Buiocchi, Brocade VP of Worldwide
Marketing.

Hitachi Data Systems will also partner with Brocade to utilize Brocade StorageX
for services designed to help customers who need assistance with heterogeneous
file migrations, data mobility, and non-disruptive migration of existing data to
the Hitachi portfolio of high-performance NAS platforms.
