Brocade targets Indian SAN market

Brocade Communications Systems has established new offices in
New Delhi and Mumbai. They are to address the growing regional market
requirements for Storage Area Network (SAN) products and expertise in deploying
network storage infrastructure in IT data centers.

The company also announced that Shyam Gopal has been named
Country Manager for India. Based in Delhi, he is responsible for managing the
company's business operations and sales and marketing activities in the
region. Before joining Brocade, Shyam was the SEA/India Sales Director for
Network Associates. He was responsible for establishing that company's
operations in India.

Brocade plans to offer its comprehensive SAN education in
India. This education program includes the high-value Brocade Certified SAN
Professional program, and the unique SAN Health tool, which is a diagnostic
utility that documents and monitors IT resources in a SAN fabric.
