Busy SW now available as a service

Delhi: Busy recently announced the launch of its Remote Access Edition which enables users to access accounting data anytime anywhere through the Internet. It not only allows the user to view the data but also allows them to add to or edit the data remotely.

In order to work in 'Remote Access Mode', one needs to setup a server where the data is stored. The server needs to be connected to a broadband / leased line Internet connection with a static IP. It also requires Server Operating System and MS-SQL Database Software. Besides, the server requires a good firewall or a good security system to protect it from unauthorized persons and hackers. All above tasks require technical expertise, which sometimes is not available with small businesses.

For businesses, who do not want to get into the hassle of setting up their own server, Busy has come out with another option. Busy has installed its own server where any customer can take space on rental basis. This solution frees the customer from the hassle of putting up and managing the server and from bothering about the data security or backups.

In this model, called SAAS (software-as-a-service), the customer does not need to buy Busy licenses and is required to pay only the monthly rental charges. They can pay for the licenses and pays only the service charges.
