Canon announces 'Print&Mint' contest

New Delhi: Canon India has announced a consumer promo on their consumables
called the 'Print & Mint' offer. As per the offer, consumers get a
scratch card on purchase of select models of original Canon consumables. The
scratch card ensures assured gifts like digital cameras, digital camcorders,
optical mouse and pen drives. The grand prize for the offer is a chance to win a
Canon home theatre projector worth over Rs. 2 lacs. The offer is valid till
March 2008 pan India.

The contest is open on the following models of Canon consumables: BCI-24BLK;
PG 40; CL 41; PG 830

CL 831; EP-25 and EP-303

Commenting on the new scheme V.P. Sajeevan, Assistant Director-CSP, Canon
India said, "One of Canon's goals is to address the problem of purchase of
fake cartridges. Consumers will now be able to distinguish original Canon
consumables from grey and we would be rewarding their purchase with exciting
gifts. This also reinforces our commitment to fight against fake consumables."

He further added, "This offer is a step to excite the customer to buy
original cartridges. Delivering customer choice and value is critical for
driving continued growth. With this objective in mind we came out with this
contest."

Every customer will receive a scratch card on purchase of Original Canon
Consumables. Each scratch card has a unique code, which needs to be sent through
SMS by the customer on CAN to 54646 to be part of the
contest.
