Keeping its focus towards delivering solutions on
e-entertainment, e-commerce and e-enterprise, CanvasM Technologies, a newly
formed telecom focused joint venture between Tech Mahindra and Motorola is
keenly looking at India when it comes to partnering with the solution provider
community in the region.
"We firmly believe that telecom is one such segment
where we will have a lot of action. We would be developing a whole ecosystem in
order to tap various opportunities in the areas of e-entertainment, e-commerce
and enabling e-enterprise. We are looking at partnering with at least 30 to 40
different solution providers working in different niche areas, in order to
encourage development activity in above mentioned areas," informed, Jagdish
Mitra, CEO, CanvasM Technologies.
Headquartered in Noida,India, initially the company will have
close to 50 people based at its Noida facility and would work towards designing
specific applications relevant for various telecom operators and service
providers in not only the Indian region but globally as well.
"We are going to target different geographies globally.
The whole idea is to have right kind of ecosystem, so that our customers can get
the best of both the worlds under one roof," he added.
CanvasM, will enable network service providers and enterprises to launch and
manage the deployment of applications that will help increase their
differentiation, shorten time to revenue and reduce total cost of ownership in
the long run.
