CCS Infotech enters national distribution

Chennai-based CCS Infotech has entered into the national distribution space
by floating a new division called Info Logics last month. This division will
take care of the distribution activities of the company across the country. G
Vinod, President, Info Logics, CCS Infotech, said that the division was formed
purely for distribution and sub-distribution purpose on a national basis. "We
already have 12 branches across the country in Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad,
Nellore, Trivandrum, Vellore, Salem, Trichy, Coimbatore, Madurai, Cochin and
Pudducherry, which is taking care of the sales support of our system integration
division and we planned to leverage the strength of those places for our
distribution purpose," said Vinod.

CCS has already tied up with Microsoft for the distribution of their OEM
products in Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Karnataka and sub-distribution of Linksys in
Tamil Nadu. The company is also in the process of tying up with five companies
in the hardware space for exclusive distribution.
