CDP India to explore BPO business soon

CDP India, a Mumbai-based end-to-end IT solutions provider, is all set to add Business Process Outsourcing
(BPO) operations to its business. 

Nikesh Sakaria, MD, CDP (India) revealed on the company's 13th anniversary. "The opening of the BPO arm will make us a complete IT solutions provider in
all respect," says Nikesh. CDP has been in the solutions business for over a decade with systems integration, software development and hardware
reselling activities.

A 50-seat infrastructure is already in place at the company's 4,500 sq ft location in Vasai. According to Nikesh, the BPO arm of the company will
start with back-office operations in the first year and may expand to take up call-center activities as well in the future. The BPO wing is
scheduled to go online in three months time. The company has already received couple of
offers, which are being evaluated for the same.

"We have not fixed any revenue target for the first year of operation. But the entire year's experience will be used to evaluate and expand the
business further in the next year," says Nikesh. The company's expertise in providing support in 60 locations across India for IT solutions should
come handy in growing the BPO arm.
