Mumbai: Celstream Technologies has chosen Verizon computing as a service (CaaS) to deliver business applications to Celstream's global users. The on-demand, flexible cloud solution, which is provisioned through a Web-based user interface, will allow the company to better manage IT resources and achieve cost efficiencies, while also benefiting from exceptional performance and security.

Celstream provides product engineering, and offshore research and development services to high technology companies in print and publishing, media and entertainment, and consumer electronics. Central to the company's business model is the ability of its sales and service offices around the globe to quickly and securely deliver new software tools and applications to its global customers.

Celstream intended to identify a service provider that could combine secure application hosting with flexible service delivery. They realized that Verizon's CaaS offering provided the perfect solution. The service gives extreme flexibility, enabling Celstream to scale computing capacity up or down on demand, according to the company's business needs.

Verizon's CaaS uses a pay-per-use model for daily billing, integrated security, automated provisioning, and integrated storage and backup services to support business continuity. Application availability is backed by Verizon Business' stringent service level agreements.
