Ramco's partnership with IDBLUE

Ramco Systems has entered into a global partnership with IDBLUE. Ramco Systems will provide end-to-end RFID solutions within the aerospace sector for the purpose of MRO, aircraft and component, data identification, tracking, enhanced line maintenance and performance-based utilization. The agreement was struck at the Farnborough International Airshow (FIA), the world's most iconic global aviation event.
“This partnership will allow us to provide next generation asset visibility solutions to the aerospace sector by coupling IDBLUE's RFID technology and deployment expertise with Ramco's suite of leading software products and their global reach,” said Jeff Brown, VP -Services, IDBLUE.

Patni appoints Manish Mehta as EVP and Chief Delivery Officer

Patni Computer Systems has announced the appointment of Manish Mehta as EVP and Chief Delivery Officer. Manish will be part of the executive leadership team and will be responsible for application development and maintenance, enterprise software, and system integration functions.
With a career spanning of over 29 years, Manish has held diverse leadership positions in various organizations. In his last assignment, Manish was associated with Mahindra Satyam as Chief Delivery Officer for India, EMEA and APAC regions. In this role, he was accountable for entire delivery across all verticals and technologies in the regions, with particular focus on increasing volumes from existing customers. Prior to this role, he held global responsibilities for horizontals like SAP and Testing at Mahindra Satyam. He earlier worked with TCS for around
15 years.

Sybase adaptive server enterprise accelerates market share

Sybase announced strong growth in adoption of Sybase's Adaptive Server Enterprise (ASE), its high-performance relational database management system for
mission-critical and data-intensive environments. Sybase achieved double digit license growth in the enterprise database management market through 2009 and the first half of 2010.
Strong momentum is being driven by a very committed customer base with a 97 percent customer satisfaction rate, and with the continued addition of new customers. Through scalable database performance, effective management of rapidly growing data sets, and rock-solid reliability, Sybase ASE continues to propel the business growth of customers worldwide.
