Cisco launches Pulse program for its channel partners

Networking major Cisco Systems has launched Pulse, a country wide program to
facilitate uniform learning and growth in advanced technologies for its channel
partner community.

The program is a focused technology training initiative conducted by Cisco
system engineers and covers pre-sales and sales modules. It is delivered to
partners on a monthly cycle across the country.

Shirish Joshi, Vice President-Channels, Cisco Systems (India & SAARC)
said: "With an increasing number of client sites deploying advanced
technology solutions such as IP-Tel and Wireless WAN, it is imperative that our
channel partners are appropriately equipped to service customers' needs."

To enhance customer satisfaction with timely and superior services, irrespective of the client's location SHIRISH JOSHI

"The Pulse program initiative is aims to provide training to partners on
a regular and ongoing basis such that they can effectively manage the on ground
situation. The end objective is to enhance customer satisfaction with timely and
superior services irrespective of the client's location," said Shishir.

The Pulse Program is to be executed in India over the next year. The training
is conducted in batches of 20 people to ensure individual attention by quality
trained professionals.
