In Dec, Classic had sold about 10 computers to Deep Infotech. The company
issued three cheques to Classic. While the first two cheques were realized, the
third cheque of Rs 30,000 bounced. When Chitresh Adlakha, Proprietor, Classic
Infoways contacted Deep Infotech's office he was informed that there were no
pending payments at Deep's end.
He further added that he tried to approach Deep Infotech a number of times
but the company refused to acknowledge the payments. “Tyagi, the proprietor of
Deep Infotech has refused to make any payments and hence we have now filed a
case against them in the local court in Gurgaon. We are not the only dealers who
have been duped by Deep. Another company by the name of Binary Business Systems
based in Gurgaon also has a huge amount to be recovered from Deep Infotech,”
pointed Adlakha.
When contacted Tyagi denied the charges while stating that all the payments
in the above transactions had been cleared by them. “We do not have any payments
pending with Classic Infoways. On the contrary, Adlakha has received a sum of Rs
80,000 in excess from us that he needs to return to us,” stated Tyagi. He
further added that Adlakha had not even provided them with proper bills for the
above transaction.
