CMC becomes Cisco gold-certified partner

Cisco Systems has announced the appointment of CMC Ltd as its gold - certified partner in India, the highest certification that Cisco awards to its partners globally. This certification implies that CMC is qualified to sell, install and support Cisco solutions in the Indian sub-continent. Cisco now has six gold certified partners in the region.

In recognition of this certification achievement, CMC will receive a gold certification kit and will be identified as a gold certified partner in the Cisco partner locator website. In order to maintain this certification, CMC will be required to participate in Cisco's customer atisfaction program and deliver on Cisco's exacting customer satisfaction standards.

CMC MD and CEO R Ramanan says, "Cisco's Gold-certification provides a tremendous impetus to our network integration business in India. The certification will demand very exacting standards from our organization, as it will require us to have a required number of Cisco certified individuals on staff, be capable of both Pre Sales and Post Sales support and provide
