CommVault partners Inflow Technologies

CommVault, an unified data management solutions provider, signed its first
distribution agreement in the country with Inflow Technologies, as part of its
expansion strategy in India. The company also announced the appointment of Vivek
Anand as country sales manager.

By establishing a local sales and distribution presence, CommVault is aiming
to provide a timelier and more personalized level of service for enterprises in
India and to increase its market share in this burgeoning market, it said in a
release.

Inflow will market and distribute the full CommVault Simpana software suite
including data protection, replication, archive, search and storage resource
management modules and will assist CommVault in the development of its channel
across India by recruiting and training suitable reseller candidates.

As CommVault's new country sales manager, Anand would be responsible for
sales operations in India with the task of growing CommVault's channel
business in India. “CommVault has identified India as a market with huge
growth potential and we are confident that now is the right time to be expanding
our operations in the region,” said Ross Stewart, CommVault's Regional
Director of Emerging Markets.

“We are pleased to work with Inflow to build a program for resellers that
rewards partners' commitment and increasing knowledge base,” he added.
