CompEx gets a footfall of 1.5 lakh

The 16th edition of the IT expo 'CompEx' organized by the Vidharbha Computer
and Media Dealers Welfare Association (VCMDWA) saw around 1.5 lakh visitors.
This expo called CompEx was held in Nagpur between the 11th and 14th of January.

Speaking about the same, Prashant UgeMuge, President, VCMDWA said, "We
are overwhelmed by the response that we have got from the people in Vidharbha.
As per the tickets sold and the preliminary level counting, more that 1.5-lakh
visitors have visited CompEx. The feedback that we got from the participants is
good and we are now looking towards making this expo a by-yearly affair. The
next CompEx, will be held soon."

Another member of the association and former president Vinod Verma, said,
"In terms of collections, business enquiries and visitors, we did better
this year. Everybody who participated in the expo got lot of business inquiries
and good business opportunities. Due to various offers that are provided in the
expo people are willing to participate in the expo and buy as well."

One of the participants, Manjunath Raju, Area Sales Manager, DSK World man
Computers said, "Our main motive behind the participation was to make
people aware of DSK World man Computers and we have done it successfully. People
in Vidharba have shown interest in TCL products that we distribute and we have
got good amount of business from the expo. We are now looking towards converting
the business inquiries into sales."

Another partner Rohit Jaiswal, Director, Roman Inc said, "The business
inquiries in Compex were very good we would like to participate in the next expo
but we are not interested in participating in the expo twice an year as that
will end the curiosity about CompEx in the minds of people."

However Umesh Mohta, Director Cable Connector and Sonu Kewlaramani, Director,
Silver Systems were of the view that participating in CompEx will always help
business develop and they would not mind participating in CompEx twice an year.

Milind Choure, Director, Unilogic Systems said," We have arranged many
reseller meets but the number of resellers attending the expo are definitely
more."

The expo, a four-day event ended with prize distribution where DSK Worldman
was awarded the best pavilion award, while the best stall award went to Vincom
Systems and Roman Incorporation.
