Level One WAP with built-in 12dbi directional antenna
provides a cost effective, wireless outdoor solution. With the proven
technology, it delivers data rates of up to 108Mbps in 2.4GHz frequency band and
outstanding performance in all aspects. WAP 1001 supports AP/APclient/bridge/repeater/multiple
operations modes. By setting the device into AP client bridge mode, it can
provide any ethernet device with wireless networking capabilities by placing the
Eethernet device anywhere to enable interoperability between the wireless
network and ethernet devices. The repeater mode operations can repeat wireless
signals from AP to wireless clients thus extending the WLAN range. There are two
different approaches to bridge modes: point-to-point, which allows to bridge
between the two remote locations, and point to multiple point which is normally
used for business ISP's, warehouse connections, campus overages, and last mile
applications.

In addition to providing the basic security control by using
ESSID by 64/128/ 152 bit key length encryption, this access point also supports
advanced features such as WPA-PSK and WPA to provide enhanced level of security,
MAC access filtering and ESSID broadcast disabled function to protect the
network from unauthorized access. The WAP features IP 66 rated waterproof and
watertight metal housing to avoid water invasion and weather corrosion, thus
making it ideal for outdoor installations. The built-in PoE function allows to
reduce power cable and adapter expenses and increase location options while
deploying wireless outdoor AP installation anywhere. All the configuration and
maintenance of this AP can be done with a web browser though the web-based
