CSST to start operations in India

China Security and Surveillance Technology (CSST) Inc, a provider of digital
surveillance technology in China, announced the launch of their operations in
India through an alliance with Smile Security and Surveillance Pvt Ltd (SSSPL),
India, at a function held in Bangalore.

Speaking at the launch of the operation, Alex Kuo, Senior VP-Global
Innovation Alliance, CSST, said, “We have done integration of several
companies who were leaders in their own domain and as a combined force executed
some of the very challenging security and surveillance projects in China. We
wish to work out a similar business model in India by partnering with different
companies who have complementing strengths so that local security and
surveillance needs in India are met as required.”

In addition he said, “We are very excited to announce our strategic
alliance with SSSPL as they already have excellent domain knowledge in the
security and surveillance space in India. Anticipating the growing business
potential and recognizing the need for ability to produce come of the products
in India we have also tied up with one of the leading EMS companies-Smile
Electronics where CSST shall provide manufacturing technology transfer and
equipments required for high quality production and testing facility. Frankly we
are very impressed to see their state-of-the-art SMT lines and testing equipment
that match with international manufacturing infrastructures in Taiwan/China.”

Commenting on this significant moment, Rahul Gupta, MD, SSSPL, said, “We

surveillance products and solutions that have already been proven in China and
other international markets.”
