Cyber Space appoints Supreme as sub-disti for Antec

 Cyber Space Abacus, a Chennai-based national distributor for high performance computer components Antec, has appointed Supreme Computers as their regional sub-disti. Antec's range of products include cabinets, power supplies and cooling solutions ranging from Rs 1,850 to 24,000. “We have tied up with Supreme Computers as the regional sub-distributor for Antec range of products for Tamil Nadu. We felt that Supreme has the marketing capability to distribute the range of Antec's products and can do justice to the brand with their large presence in the state,” informed Shanmugavel Yogan, MD, Cyber Space Abacus.

He also mentioned that the Antec range of products could be dealt with by only potential dealers and Cyber Sapce has been selective in appointing sub-distis across the country. “There are only few dealers who have the potential to deal with the Antec range of products, as the brand is known to be the costliest among other brands across the globe due to its technology and constant innovation in the product line,” he added.

Cyber Space has been associated with Antec for almost six years and has been distributing products across the country by appointing sub-distis. Earlier in addition to the appointment of sub-distis, Cyber Space had a tie-up with a national distributor for few years. The partnership was scrapped after margins started shrinking. “We were associated with a national distributor and that gave us a good reach. However, there were few issues like shrinking margins, due to which we took up the sole distribution ourselves and started appointing sub-distis to take the products forward,” Yogan shared. Presently Cyber Space has sub-distis across the country in almost every state.

Cyber Space was associated with few other sub-distributors in Chennai, however to sharpen the focus on products, the distributor has appointed Supreme Computers as the sole regional sub-disti for Tamil Nadu and dealers across the state would be billing the Antec range of products only through Supreme Computers. The orders that are placed directly would also be billed only through Supreme. “Even though Antec is a global product, most dealers aren't aware of the range of products available in the brand. We want to sharpen the focus and make dealers aware of the complete range of products. Supreme has that ability to bring in awareness of the product amongst its channel partners,” Yogan claimed. Speaking on the benefits that dealers would achieve in dealing with Antec range of products, he said, “Since the distribution strategy has been revived, dealers would be able to get more margins on Antec products. The addition of more entry-level products and booming gaming industry has brought more attention of end-users towards Antec brand. By dealing with Antec range of products dealers would be able to provide what customers actually need.”
