Cyberoam rolls out CCNSP program

Mumbai: In their bid to enable the partners to sell security products better, Cyberoam has rolled out its Certified Network Security Professionals (CCNSP) program. Open to all its authorized partners, the program will see Cyberoam train close to 1,000 engineers of its partners. It will impart technical training to the security professionals that will further help them effectively deploy and integrate solutions for customers.

The two-day training course comprises security configuration, trouble shooting, in-depth features explanation followed by interactive sessions. The training will enable the partners to understand the clients requirement and offer best of the breed solutions depending upon their requirements.

Talking about the program, Tushar Singhat, VP-Operations, Cyberoam India stated, “Security business can throw immense opportunities for growth but very few network partners focus on security. Most of the partners end up doing cabling, switching and routing and don't go a step further to extend the benefits of security to their customers. We will help our partners in making security a popular concept as well.”

Singhat further added that today customers are looking at strengthening their network security and hence there is a huge scope for expansion. Banks, large enterprises and SME and SMB are few such segments that offer huge scope for expansion and business, since these organizations don't have full-fleged security in place.

In addition Cyberoam is also planing to increase its partner base to strengthen its reach and presence in the country. Currently it has 450 partners and is planning to take the count to 700 by the end of 2009.

Cyberoam recently conducted partner meets in eight cities including Pune, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Ahmedabad, Chandigarh, Delhi, Kolkata and Chennai to strengthen their partner relationships.
