Cyberstar Infocom has announced an aggressive roll out of marketing
initiatives designed to promote the latest range of Creative Zen Vision and Zen
V plus MP3 players in the region.
As a part of this aggressive rollout, Cyberstar recently launched http://creative.rediff.com/,
a microsite designed to enable easy online purchases for this latest range of
Creative MP3 players in India. Cyberstar has also entered into retailing
arrangements with large format retail stores like Big Bazaar, Reliance Retail
and Home Solution stores and is also negotiating with a host leading book and
music retail outlets to introduce Creative multimedia products on their retail
shelves, across the country.
"According to Toh Sork Lee, Country Manager, Creative, "Cyberstar's
latest marketing initiatives designed to increase retail and online store shelf
visibility for our latest MP3 players will certainly help expand our already
large customer base in India."
The ZEN Vision displays videos, photos and music on a large 2.5"
full-color screen. Available in sleek 30GB and 60GB models these latest MP3
players sport five colors - blue, green, pink, black and white. ZEN V Plus
features a full color 1.5" OLED display with a suite of music, photo, radio
and video functions. All Creative ZEN MP3 players support AAC music and
unprotected iTunes Plus tracks from the iTunes store, in addition to MP3 and WMA
formats.
Sharing his thoughts, Raj Rathi, MD, Cyberstar Infocom said, "By
introducing aggressive India specific pricing, aggressive promotions and by
improving retail and online availability we hope to further enhance penetration
of Creative's latest range of MP3 players in India."
