Delta India, a part of the $ 5.34
Billion Delta Group; had organized a one day seminar on Designing
Reliable Power Infrastructure at Hotel Taj West End. Bengaluru,
popularly known as India's IT hub, has the maximum datacenters.
Delta organized this one day seminar with the objective to introduce
the concept of designing reliable power solutions using Modular and
Scalable UPS which is designed keeping datacenters day in day out
challenges. The seminar was attended by consultants, system
integrators, IT professionals and IT heads of several reputed
organizations such as Spectral Services, Jurong Consulting, Concorde
Designs, Cushman & Wakefield India, Electro—Mech Consultants
and many more.

In the seminar, Delta showcased its
modular and scalable NH plus UPS (Available in ratings from 20kVA to
480kVA, in steps of 20kVA),
which caters to banking, network, server, security, medical,
laboratories, telecom;
industries and datacenters. The product has been designed keeping in
view the challenges faced in
implementation of IT setups and datacenters namely-scalability,
flexibility,
manageability, maintainability and availability. “ITeS industry and
datacenter is realizing that power management solutions are the key
for mission critical operations. These solutions will continue to
grow in importance as organizations seek to optimize energy
efficiency and high power density without compromising availability,”
said Shankar Chaturvedi, National Sales Head, Delta India. “Delta
has designed the NH Plus UPS to assist customers in reducing waste
and conserving energy, as well as reducing the cost of running their
business,” he further added.

Delta NH Plus UPS using the
state-of-the-art technology, provides excellent energy efficiency,
remarkably low total cost of ownership
both in terms of capital expenses (Pay as you grow) and operation
expenses (reduced electricity
consumption and lower maintenance cost on account of enhanced battery
life). The key benefit
of Delta NH Plus Modular UPS systems is to enhance the availability of
power to critical
loads. In addition to having excellent Mean Time Between Failures
(Quality), modular systems
allow minimization of Mean Time To Repair (Quick restoration of system
capability) to
near zero which ensures the uptime of all critical applications. “NH
Plus UPS evolved
from its predecessor, the NH Series, in which Delta fulfilled
customers' increasing demands for higher efficiency and smaller
footprint. Delta continuously devotes extensive R&D resources to
advanced UPS technologies with the vision of ensuring customers'
business continuity with very competitive performance,"commented
Robin Roy, Product Manager, Delta India. The delegates
appreciated the concept and benefits of modular systems and showed
renewed interest in implementing the same in their upcoming projects.
Delta is confident that modular systems like NH Plus is the future of
power management solutions.
