New Bakshi Computer, located in Ludhiana is playing with the concept of
promoting usage of computer among children by showcasing computer parts and
accessories like cabinets, mouse, webcams in fascinating designs and attractive
colors. Kanwaljeet Singh Bakshi, proprietor of New Bakshi Computers explains the
concept and says that he all set to open a new office in New Delhi in January
2008, solely for products targeted for children. "The products that are
available in showcase here spells magic on children above 10 years of age who
visit my showroom to buy computer accessories. There are scores of designs and
colors that teenagers can chose from," he says.

Bakshi started importing the new range of computer accessories in October
from China and within 15 days the entire lot was sold in Punjab. Bakshi claims
that this concept is absolutely new to the Indian market and that the idea is at
an initial stage and it would take some time to pick in the market.

"In Punjab I am getting very good response but I won't take steps
hastily. I first want to generate awareness among kids and their parents so that
they could make better decision while buying. Right now I am just making the
products available at all counters and stores so that its visibility is
increased. Once Punjab picks up well, I will focus on the market of New Delhi,
where the idea has not been explored yet. I have even finalized a place in Nehru
Place and the office will be operational from the beginning of next year,"
adds Bakshi.

The products are already available at stores of different channel partners in
Ludhiana who claim to be getting good enquiries by customers.
