1.Accel Frontline:Accelerated Growth

Accel continued to engage itself in providing comprehensive IT services
for enterprises, and the year saw the company getting many new contracts and big
orders

Accel Frontline, the joint venture between the Chennai-based Accel and
Singapore-based Frontline Technologies Corporation, continued to engage itself
in providing comprehensive IT services for enterprises. This includes IT
infrastructure management, software services, infrastructure solutions and IT
outsourcing.

Last fiscal, the company evolved from a systems integrator to a system
provider of end-to-end IT solutions. The year went by with Accel getting many
new contracts. Significant among them were the Rs 5.4 crore contract it bagged
from the Indian Railways through CRIS to deploy about 300 ticket vending
machines; projects from the State Bank of India worth Rs 16 crore, Ericsson
worth Rs 14.7 crore and Alcatel worth Rs 9 crore.

The company also deepened its presence into the ERP space last fiscal.
Employing 2,615 professionals and operating from 100 locations, the company came
out with its IPO in Oct 2006 and got listed on the National Stock Exchange (NSE)
of India and the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).

The company had a turnover of Rs 220 crore for the FY ending March 2007.
Accel also indicated a fairly high employee satisfaction score.

A list of skill-sets is maintained by HR and is constantly upgraded.
Employees are encouraged to choose the technology they wish to be trained in.
The company sets aside handsome skill allowances for the same.

2.Frontier Business Systems :Sultan Of The South

Last fiscal proved to be a very good one for Frontier, which bagged many
large enterprise deals. The company also re-evaluated all business lines and
drew up a strong organization structure to enable scaleable growth

Bangalore-based Frontier Business Systems entered new frontiers of growth all
through the last fiscal and managed to clock revenues of Rs 197 crore, showing a
good 11 percent growth. Having consolidated its business in South India,
Frontier is now considering expansions into the North and West regions of the
country.

The company added new offerings like security consulting and certification to
its business, and started a new services division, while successfully launching
the ITIL training and certification in Bangalore and Chennai.

The company also bagged many large enterprise deals from key customers that
included a Rs 28 crore project from BHEL and a Rs 10 crore project from the
Cyberabad Convention Center. The focus was also on setting up datacenters for
customers, which provided some key wins as well.

Having ventured into information security consulting and managed services
successfully, the company is now looking to scale across all regions in the
country and expects about 25 percent of their net fiscal revenues to come from
services.

Frontier also made some signi­ficant invest­ments on development of soft
skills especially for the key manage­ment team in order to help them handle
large revenue volumes.

Drawing up three-year plans, Frontier is looking at doubling their turnover
to Rs 400 crore by 2010. It intends to open offices in West India, and is
evaluating options for services outside India.

The system integration skills have been put into use in large implementations
covering multiple IT infrastructure areas.

3.PRECISION GROUP :Precise Actions

Having several vendors in its kitty helped Precision Group offer a diverse
set of solutions to its customers and having built its base in South, the
company is now targeting western and eastern regions

The Precision Group is a 12-year old solution providing firm catering to
large corporates as well as small and medium enterprises in India. It has
offices in Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Trichy, Madurai, Coimbatore and
Vishakapattinam.

Last year, the company decided to move beyond South and opened an office in
Mumbai and New Delhi.

From clocking Rs 115 crore in 2005-06 to Rs 177 crore in the last fiscal,
Precision was one of the few companies, which registered over 35 percent growth.

Even after a being premier enterprise partner and authorized service delivery
partner for HP; member business partner and authorized support provider for IBM;
channel partner and authorized service provider for HCL; certified gold partner
for Microsoft and Novell, strategic business partner for Toshiba, the company
still felt it was missing some piece of the solution pie. Hence it tied up with
VM Ware to concentrate more on the storage segment.

Recently, HP India opened its business solutions center in Chennai in
partnership with Precision Infomatic at the latter's premises to help customers
get an experience of the latest HP products and solutions to cater to their
business needs, specific to the operative verticals. The center showcases HP
products like servers, storage, thin clients, commercial desktops, notebooks,
workstations, commercial printers and HP genuine accessories, catering to
enterprise and mid-market businesses. Customers can witness live demonstrations
of software application on HP hardware customized to their business
requirements.

4.Team Computers :Gearing For Higher Growth

Attaining high revenues and bagging large scale projects, Team Computers
is now looking at further expanding its employee base

Crossing Rs 1,000 crore mark in turnover and improving customer experience by
a strategic relaxed focus on execution and process excellence is the target that
New Delhi-based Team Computers has set for itself. In addition, the company will
also be looking forward to improve its shareholder experience by increasing
profitability and net profit margin to 20 percent and return on net worth to 100
percent.

Some of the applications launched by Team this year include NaviQlik-a
ready­made templated plug-and-play data analytics for Navision users. It also
introduced Qlik2Collect, a set of applica­tions that help analytics for
collection agencies. Yet another product from the Team stable was HR in a Box,
which uses an engine that converts business rules into applica­tions without
extensive coding to suit the HR practices of customers. Team also opened an
office in the United States calling it Team Business Solutions LLC in 2007.

Projects undertaken by the company saw them implement business intelligence
solutions that helped Canon's manage­ment in obtaining a unified view of their
data coming from various data sources. It provided IT infrastructure, process
auto­mation and information solut­ions to Fullerton. Team also went a step
further to implement a comprehensive data analytics and reporting tool that
helped Reliance Life Insurance analyze a vast data and penetrate into the
profitable sources.

With 26 existing offices spreading across all the regions, Team Computers was
able to earn 54 percent revenues from North region while 26 percent was the
contribution from West. In addition, 16 percent came from South and four percent
from the eastern region.

SME/SMB was the vertical that brought in the highest amount of business at 51
percent contribution with the services offered to this segment. IT/ITeS resulted
in revenues close to 15 percent. Team Computers plans to expand their headcount
massively and next fiscal will see the company hire close to 400 new employees
depending upon their needs. Sales, marketing and tech support area will see
maximum number of addition.

At present, the company has 101 employees for their marketing purpose, but in
the next financial year it will be increased to 150. On the other hand, tech
support area currently has only 388 people in board and this will soon be
increased to 600. This in context of the projects the company is undertaking on
a massive scale.

5.Netlink Business System :Raising The Bar

The company acquired Imagination Infotech, tied up with Sun and executed
projects for some big names

Registering an estimated growth of 20 percent last fiscal, Netlink Business
Systems reportedly had a turnover of Rs 164 crore in 2006-07, posting a growth
of 16 percent. The company has recently acquired Imagination Infotech. It has
also tied-up with Sun Microsystems and is in dialogues to set-up an alliance
with Oracle for their currently fast upcoming versatile business solutions.

Netlink has executed projects for General Electric, Hero Corporate Services,
NIIT Group, Oberoi Group of Hotels, Bechtel, Vanguard, HCL Group, BBC, SCOPE,
Khodays, Li and Fung, Le-Meriden, Radisson, Multimedia Super Corridor, DHL, BHEL,
and other Indian and International companies.

Observing the surmounting business opportunities in Chennai (for its growing
automotive industry) in Bangalore (for being a software paradise) and Hyderabad
(for a major IT industry), Netlink has opened three new offices in these
locations. The company has its operations that is spread across 19 cities in the
country and has its product development facilities in Malaysia and the US.

Netlink earns a major share of its revenue from the US market, which is
followed by North India and then South India. The company is next moving towards
the Middle East market for which it claims to be moving with the right approach.
