DQ Week Mumbai honors top channel partners of western region

In an effort to promote excellence in the channel community, DQ Week Mumbai honored outstanding channel partners in different categories. Now in its second year, the DQ Week Mumbai channel awards are among the most prestigious and keenly sought accolades in the Western region channel community.

Following consultation with leading resellers, end users and industry consultants--a panel of judges, which includes Mumbai based channel industry representatives also, selected top channel partners. The selection criteria were based on the increased business opportunities and profitability of a reseller.

Announcing the second DQ Week Mumbai awards, CyberMedia MD Pradeep Gupta said, "Gone are the days when the growth in the channel community was based on the services it was offering. A mix of services and solutions could be a good idea to promote but by next year, there would be no survival without solutions. People would ask for solutions more than services".

Apart from Mumbai, DQ Week Mumbai also awarded the best channel partners from the adjoining areas. The best channel partner award in Amravati and Aurangabad went to Golden Systems and Cyber Peripherals respectively, while Rhythm Electronics bagged the best channel for Baroda. Navjeen Computers and Veetrag Computers were awarded as best channel partners for Jalgaon and Kolhapur regions respectively.

For Gujarat up country, the best channel partner award went to Advance Computers and Compu Garage while Amay Computers and Datatronics Systems went away with best channel partner award from Mazgaon and Nagpur respectively. Omega Infocom bagged the best channel partner award for
Nashik.

The other winners in the best channel award category include Apex Computers and Engineering Services of Panjim, Netlink Infocom of Rajkot, Valson's Computer of Surat, Keshav Computers of Thane and Gujral Infotech of
Vashi. 

The best retailer and best system integrator (SI) award for Ahmedabad went to Care office Equipments and Sai Infosystems respectively while Damson Technologies bagged the best reseller award. The best sub-distributor award went to Shani Peripherals and Silverline
Infocom.

From Pune region, the best retailer award went to Compucity while best SI and best reseller award went to CITPL and GV Sales respectively. The joint winners for best sub-distributor award were Datacare Corporation and Karan Solutions.

In the Mumbai region, the most promising retailer award went to Vijay Sales and the runner-up in this category was Gigahertz. The best retailer awards went to Infocity, while Softcell Technologies bagged the best software solution provider award and the best retailer runner-up SI was Kaybee Infotech. Allied Digital Services and Ashtech Infotech were jointly named as best SI. The best reseller award went to Radiant Technologies while
the runner-up in this category was Ortel Computers.

The most promising sub-distributor was Active Infocom and the runner-up was Best IT World. The award for the best sub distributor went to Arihant Computers.
